Uganda Sports Press Association nominated 3 Heathens players for the award of Rugby MVP of the year.The candidates were Robert 'Soggy' Seguya,George Scott '300' Oluoch and Benon Kizza.Heathens won all 5 major trophies in the 2009 rugby season,these include the Bell 15's league,Uganda Cup,Broadband 7's circuit,Super Cup and the Makerere Hima 10's.This highly successful season has seen Heathens RFC nominated as Sports personality of year up against 4 other personalities from sporting disciplines like boxing,athletics and soccer.

After intense debate between Robert Seguya and Scott '300' Oluoch the latter came out the clear winner.The Kenyan born back row player and lock was capped 4 times for Uganda and he impressed with a return of 3 tries.He also had an outstanding season with Heathens winning all trophies in their grand slam season.

Scott '300' Oluoch will be presented with his award later this month at the prestiguos and glitzy USPA awards.
